Ideally
situated next to a fresh water reservoir, which is free from
Bilharzia. Luwawa Forest Lodge offers guests a chance to enjoy
some great water sports.
There are plenty of activities which people
can participate in, such as sailing, canoeing and fishing.
The dam is
ideal for the beginner sailor, and our GP14 Miracle dinghy's
are easy to handle.
We
also have a variety of canoes available for hire, from Kayaks to
our three man Canadian canoe. Life Jackets are also
available. As well as fishing and sailing, we also have archery!
There
are plenty of fish in the reservoir including the Chambo, a
large indigenous fish, which is a member of the perch family,
plus a variety of the cat fish. All fishing equipment is
available at the lodge. |
