The forest lodge is situated about 200km north of Lilongwe, and 10km off the main M1 road between Lilongwe and Mzuzu.

The lodge itself is situated in a forest reserve with a combination of pine and indigenous woodland. It has a varied habitat, which sustains a large variety of birds and some highland wildlife.

The roads to the lodge are generally in good condition, although during the rainy season (December - March) they  can sometimes be very wet and muddy! So let us know in advance, if you are planning a trip during the rainy season.   

The lodge itself contains most things that you would require for a relaxing stay; Including a Sauna.

There is plenty of room in the Dining area of the lodge and all the food is freshly prepared using fresh organic vegetables from our very own vegetable garden. 

Our staff take great pride in producing wholesome, homely and very tasty organic meals for everyone to enjoy.

We serve breakfast, lunch and evening meals, and you can also order afternoon snacks if required, our staff will be more than happy to help.....

There are self catering facilities at the lodge for those who prefer to do their own cooking.

The lodge also contains a fully stocked kitchen, a lounge area famous for its' Baobab fireplace, and a fully stocked bar, where guests can enjoy refreshment and exchange stories of there days activities.......

Special events can be arranged and hosted at the lodge, which have included in the past; evenings with some of Malawi's top musical entertainers!
